A lakeshore spot about 3 km past the dam, where boat tours leave from. Under review until we know who manages it.
According to a tour operator, about 3 km past the dam towards Nuevo Arenal there is a public lake access on the left, with parking and toilets, where anyone can come in to see the lake or have a picnic. A travel guide describes a similar gravel lot where boat tours leave from. It may be the same place, but no source confirms it.

- Who manages the land and whether parking is charged.
