La Fortuna Farmers' Market

A local produce market that older sources place downtown. Under review until we can confirm the day, time and place.
A 2022 guide described a farmers' market on Mondays and Fridays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., opposite the bullring by the football field. In 2023 ADIFORT announced it would demolish that bullring to build a convention centre, and that it wanted a local farmers' market twice a week in the new space. In 2018 an agro-ecological market without agrochemicals was also set up on Mondays in the central park.
We do not know which of these markets is still running, or where. If you live in La Fortuna or visited the market recently, let us know.
